The Sundowner is a tradition that was originally introduced by the armed forces of the British East India Company in the early 19th century when soldiers would cap off the day with a gin and tonic as the sun set slowly beneath the horizon. We have identified the perfect vantage point from which to watch the dipping sun paint the sky the most glorious hues of pinks, gold, rose and orange. Of course, this is all done in characteristic Mountbatten style, with comfortable campaign chairs, warm wraps, mobile bar, tasty nibbles, candlelight, and our ever-attentive staff, who are committed to ensuring the evening will be one you are sure to remember.
