A Gentle Introduction to Rural Rajasthan

Two Nights at The Mountbatten Lodge

Three days at The Mountbatten Lodge offers the perfect balance of relaxation, culture and exploration.

Your journey begins with a visit to the magnificent Ranakpur Jain Temples, one of India’s greatest architectural treasures. From there, arrive at The Lodge in time for lunch beneath the shade of our 300-year-old banyan tree before settling into the privacy of your suite and pool.

As the day cools, venture into the Aravalli Hills for our signature sundowner experience. Watch the changing colours of the landscape from a secluded vantage point before returning to The Lodge for dinner beneath the stars.

The following day is spent exploring the region at a leisurely pace. Ride one of our Marwari horses through tribal villages, join a guided jungle walk, or simply relax by your pool before discovering the mighty Kumbhalgarh Fort, whose 36-kilometre wall winds dramatically across the surrounding hills.

This carefully curated short stay captures the essence of The Mountbatten Lodge; exceptional hospitality, remarkable landscapes and a rare glimpse into a quieter side of Rajasthan.
